SessionGauge Terms of Use
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms govern your use of SessionGauge. By accepting these Terms, you agree to follow them.
You must be at least [MINIMUM AGE] and legally able to enter this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is handled. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate consent required for processing sensitive information.
2. Purpose and limitations
SessionGauge provides personal recordkeeping, session timing, and reference information.
It is not a medical professional, emergency service, or substitute for medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition.
SessionGauge cannot determine that a substance, medication, combination, dose, or time interval is safe for you. A timer, displayed reference, or absence of a warning must not be interpreted as clearance to take or combine substances.
Do not start, stop, or change prescribed treatment based solely on the app. Consult an appropriately qualified professional about medical concerns.
3. Emergencies and monitoring
SessionGauge does not continuously monitor your condition or guarantee that anyone will respond to your records.
Saving an emergency contact does not automatically alert that person or emergency services. Do not assume notifications, reminders, interaction checks, or other planned features are active unless the app explicitly provides them.
If you suspect an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. Do not wait for an app response.
4. Records and reference information
You are responsible for the information you enter. Incorrect or incomplete entries can affect what the app displays.
Reference information may be incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your circumstances. Current reference results are not necessarily a record of what was known or shown during an earlier session.
SessionGauge does not guarantee that every interaction, risk, or relevant condition will be identified. Features described as unavailable, experimental, or incomplete must not be relied upon.
5. Your account and biometric access
Keep your account and device secure. Do not share access in a way that exposes another person’s information or violates these Terms.
Optional biometric sign-in relies on your device’s operating system. People whose biometrics are enrolled on your device may be able to authenticate.
When biometric sign-in is enabled, signing out may preserve protected credentials for later biometric access on that device. Use the remove-saved-sign-in control if you want those credentials removed.
You are responsible for notifying us at support@sessiongauge.com if you suspect unauthorized account access.
6. Your content and exports
You retain ownership of the information and content you submit.
You authorize us and our service providers to process that content only as necessary to provide the service, follow your instructions, and perform the uses described in the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.
Do not submit information you have no right to provide.
Exports may contain sensitive personal information. Review the destination before sharing. Export formats have different levels of detail, and exports are not guaranteed to support restoration into the app.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Access another person’s account or data without authorization.
- Bypass access controls or interfere with service security.
- Upload malicious code or intentionally disrupt the service.
- Use the service for fraud, harassment, or other unlawful conduct.
- Misrepresent app information as a medical certification or guarantee of safety.
These restrictions do not prohibit activities protected by applicable law.
8. Beta service and changes
The current service is a beta. Features may change, become unavailable, or contain errors. Data synchronization, network access, exports, and authentication may be interrupted.
We may update or discontinue features. Where practical and legally required, we will provide notice of significant changes.
Do not use SessionGauge as your only record of information you need to preserve.
9. Intellectual property and third-party services
SessionGauge’s software, branding, and original materials belong to their respective owners. Subject to these Terms, you may use the app for its intended purposes.
Third-party materials and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Third-party services and linked websites may have separate terms and privacy policies.
10. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using SessionGauge at any time.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security threats, unlawful activity, material violations of these Terms, or legal requirements. We will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue where appropriate.
Stopping use, signing out, and uninstalling do not themselves delete hosted records. Where the app provides in-app account deletion, that process is described in the Privacy Policy. If in-app deletion is not available for your sign-in method, email privacy@sessiongauge.com to request deletion. Sending that message does not delete the account.
11. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SessionGauge is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, including responsibility for fraud or other conduct for which exclusion is prohibited.

12. Governing law and disputes

Before starting a dispute, you may contact support@sessiongauge.com so we can try to resolve it informally. This does not restrict any legal right or deadline.
13. Changes to these Terms
We will identify changes through an updated effective date and provide notice of material changes. Where required, we will request renewed acceptance.
